What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a process of focused attention, relaxation, and suggestion that bypasses our normal critical faculty. It’s an altered state of consciousness, parallel to daydreaming, being engrossed in a movie or when we are in ‘flow’. While in the state of hypnosis, the subconscious mind becomes porous and open to new beliefs and behaviors. Hypnosis can be understood as as a process of direct communication between the conscious and unconscious mind.
